Appointment at the Villa

Right outside the city of Milan, an “ITINERArte” across the world of antiques

One of the most important appointments for the antique and luxury living lovers is coming soon. From March 28 to April 5 Villa Castelbarco Albani in Vaprio d’Adda (Milan) will be once again the host of the XIII Edition of Antiquari in Villa, one of the major events for the most renowned Italian antique dealers. Over 80 exhibitors will participate to the event that will cover an overall 3.000 sq.m. area entirely dedicated to the excellence of antiques. The pleasure of owning a unique item combines with high potentials of investment.

Together with the market-show, during the weekends on March 28-29 and April 4-5 2009, the Villa will host ITINERArte, a calendar of guided visits thanks to which it’ll be possible for visitors to discover the treasures of Villa Castelbarco Albani, such as the baroque chapel, the nymphaeum, the underground galleries, the little theatre and the botanic garden.

But this is not all. For this edition too, the Ente Fiera del Barco, organizer of the event, supports a number of artistic-cultural initiatives put forward by the Lombardy region, now on show at the gallery of the Accademia Tadini in Lovere, Bergamo.

As it’s tradition since 1997, this year too the Ente Fiera presents the renovation and conservation project for the third and last corpus composed of 34 nineteenth-century engravings by Antonio Canova, realized within the time frame of two years thanks to the synergy between the staff of the Ente Fiera del Barco and the Accademia Tadini.
