The first Armani Hotel in the Arab Emirates will raise in Dubai

It is well established that Giorgio Armani is one of the world’s symbols of made in Italy elegance. However what may not be known by the many is that the maison will inaugurate, by the end of 2009, a super luxury hotel at the very heart of the Arab Emirates.

As a consequence of the joint venture between Giorgio Armani S.p.A. and Emaar Properties PJSC the Armani Hotels & Resorts company was created. The spectacular Armani Hotel Dubai will be set within the Burj Dubai, the world’s highest building.

The facility will be composed of 160 suites and guests’ rooms, personally projected to details by King George that aims at making out of the hotel a true icon of the “Stay with Armani” lifestyle.

Armani stated: “The Armani Hotel Dubai is a project that deeply involved me, so as I was very fascinated by the evolution of Dubai and the Burj Dubai that will become an icon of the city.” He continued: “I personally curated all the aspects of the hotel’s project and every single component was clearly conceived to create an intimate and refined lifestyle experience.

The Armani Hotel will have a Grand Entrance and exceptional services, such as the first world’s spa directly available in the hotel, the Armani/Spa, the first Armani/Privé of the Middle East, which is a club reserved to particularly refined guests, and the areas Armani/Flowers, Armani/Sweets, Armani/Gallery.

Atop of this, the best food and drinks selection, very high quality standards (24/7 lunch, dinner and room entertainment, staff available for any requests and access to the Business Centre), and 3 thousand squared metres of facilities used for conferences and banquets (Armani/Ballroom and Armani/Pavilion).

The Armani Hotel Dubai will be the very first hotel born out of the collaboration between Giorgio Armani S.p.A. and Emaar Properties, united to create an entire range of luxury hotels, resorts and residences in the most exclusive cities in the world. “The Armani Hotel Dubai will represent a model for the global industry rotating around hospitality – both in terms of location and for the personal involvement of Giorgio Armani in every aspect of the project,” stated Mohamed Alabbar, President of Emaar Properties. “The inauguration of this facility, which is definitely a pioneer in the hospitality field, represents a further confirmation that Dubai really has great adaptability in welcoming innovative projects through international collaborations.
