TO Associates suggests an itinerary at the discovery of the Country of the Rising Sun with the second part of the journey in the Palawan Archipelago.
It starts from Tokyo, charming and surprising city with its pulsing energy along with traditional aspects and with the beauty of its gardens. Then, on to the national park of Hakone, located near the Fuji Mountain, the highest mountain of the Country, that became the main symbol. A special scenery can be enjoyed from the cruise on the Ashi lake, where the perfect symmetry of the Fuji Mountain is reflected, forming one of the most beautiful panoramas of the world.
On to Kyoto, rich of numerous temples and monuments surrounded by wonderful gardens merging perfectly with both the most modern and ancient aspects of the city of Nara.
After this journey across Japanese culture, history, architecture, tradition, technology and modernity, it will go on for few days in one of the most beautiful marine environments of the world, a tropical archipelago stretching from the Borneo through the Philippines: Palawan.
The archipelago, made of 1.768 islands, features some of the most spectacular sea beds of the world with almost 11 thousands s-km of coral reefs and of living fish species.
It hosts rain forests, mountains, the longest underground rivers of the world and infinite beaches. In the archipelago there are beyond 232 species of tropical flora and fauna among which orchids, cherry trees, mangroves, the Palawan monkeys, parrots, sea turtles and mongoose. Known as the “paradise of wild life” it owns many protected areas among which the marine reserve of El Nido, an earth paradise between green forests and lush, white sandy beaches, rocky prongs and emerald green crystal water. In these water live the sea cows, the rarest sea animals of the planet that at El Nido can be seen surprisingly clearly. The marine part of the reserve features colorful coral reefs and numerous species of tropical fish among which the manta ray. The internal part of the park includes rain forests, mangroves and unique chalky geological structures.
