Officially presented the last creation of Bugatti home.
With Veyron Grand Sport 16.4 the French car maker overcame every expectation.
The revolution begins from the roof, made of transparent modular polycarbonate and completely removable. A combination of rigidity and lightness that allowed the chassis to preserve the same resistance to twisting. The primary objective of Bugatti home was, in fact, that to grant the same road skills of the “standard” variant.
The structure, therefore, has been totally reinforced, from the side parts to the transmission tunnel until the doors made of a prestigious material of aeronautic origin and reinforced with a further side plate.
Another plus of this car is the innovative folding cloth roof located in the car trunk, as easy as to open an umbrella will be an excellent optional when the rain will catch you by surprise.
Big potential for the engine, an 8 litres W16 that, as Pierre-Henri Raphael says, Bugatti tester: “With open roof one can enjoy the symphony of the engine (an 8 litres W16) even more directly. The propeller is so close that one can fear being sucked in!”.
