Dolcefarniente: relax in Costa Smeralda

On 5th July the Prestige Village Wellness & Gym in Porto Cervo was inaugurated. It’s an exclusive area, located on the Old Marina in Porto Cervo, right next to the famous square that is the very heart of beau monde and luxury. For two months, the guests will enjoy the pleasure of relax on sofas and armchairs signed by Dolcefarniente, Italian brand, specialized in the production of interwoven-material furniture, partner of the initiative.
But Dolcefarniente is popular in Costa Smeralda where it furnished a number of venues in the famous square of Porto Cervo (Bar Sole, Bar del Portico and Hotel Cervo), as well as the hotels of the Luxury Collection (Hotel Cervo, Hotel Pitrizza, Hotel Romazzino). In Porto Cervo we met Gianluca Ruggeri, president of Polo Holding, the Real Estate Group that owns Dolcefarniente.
Since its creation Dolefarniente ties its work to the outdoor world.
Polo Holding acquired Dolcefarniente three years ago. The company was born in the ‘70s and since the very beginning stared specializing in furniture made of rattan and midollino, two materials that were very popular back then. Today the market evolved and we adopt new materials that maintain the same appeal of those traditional ones though carrying out more innovative performances. For instance, synthetic resin Viro that allows to obtain a natural aesthetic effect both for the sight and the touch, carrying out at the same time exclusive performances since it’s not affected by either temperature swings or wet environments and its resistant to salt and chlorine. We have invested energy and capitals in order to use innovative raw materials and manufacture them in traditional ways. In fact, we have not given up hand-made manufacture that, for over thirty years, has characterized every single product of ours. Each item name-branded Dolcefarniente is characterized by a good dose of manual ability – about 90% of the production cycle. Of course the entire production rigorously takes place in Italy.

Our clients can choose colours and measures of every single item and within one month he’ll have delivered a tailor-made product. This flexibility, which is one of our key characteristics, makes of us perfect partners in the contract segment. Moreover, the synergy within the group allows us to follow the realization of a project from the very first steps when the furniture is still raw to the elaboration of green spaces. Such philosophy is accompanying us in the realization of a big project of hotellerie in Dubai. We have also started a contract project with the Boscolo Hotel: we’ll install creations by Bilù, new designer brand for Dolcefarniente that realizes tables and chairs in folded steel and plexiglass. Moreover we signed a co-marketing agreement in the navigation field with Dominator shipyards for the furniture of Dominator 780 with pieces from the outside&in collection.
