The new supercar counting on safety arrives to Maranello
Ferrari presents the new 599 Hgte.
Evolution of the extraordinary coupè 599 Gtb Fiorano F, the last comer to Maranello presents a V 12 cylinders, 65 degrees and 5,999 cc, endowed with 620 horses at 7.600 rev and 608 Nm at 5.600 rev.
And if the performances do not present any change compared to the extraordinary results of the Gtb, that is, 330km/h maximum speed, 3,7 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h, it is different as for the parameters driving-easiness.
Ferrari 599 Hgte, in fact, presents pneumatics especially thought by Pirelli larger in the front (8,5 inches rather than the 8 inches of the 599 Gtb), that together with the lowered 1 centimetres centre of gravity, to the almost perfect distribution of weight, to a reprocessing of the structure due to a new rear bar and to the shock-absorber springs of different sizes, to an ever faster gear: 85 thousandths of second to go from one gear to the other, completely transformed the style of driving. For the fans of a sportive driving the technicians of the Cavallino worked for the new car to have an ever higher road holding decreasing of 20% the rotation of the wheel and increasing of 8% the lateral acceleration.
To the mechanical improvement, obviously, there is also a spasmodic care for details of the interiors like the seats that combine the Alcantara in the central part to the leather, and a design characterized by sportive details.
