Tribute to Mexican architecture
Big buildings in Mexico City. Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, in collaboration with Studio Legoretta + Legoretta, are working on the project of a 49 floor skyscraper located in the very heart of the city.
“On the façade we wanted to create an explicit tribute to Mexican architecture” stated architect Richard Rogers talking about this mighty building. 80 thousand sq.m. in 220 m height conceived for business usage by the financial giant BBVA Bancomer.
Peculiarity of the building are roof-gardens that will be inserted every 9 floors so to get a breath of fresh air, given the megalopolis.
Around 4500 employees of the society will move into the building starting 2013 – year in which the project is due to end.
