Just a few days after the closing of Vinitaly we suggest a new interesting initiative that will gather Italian oenological excellencies.
We are talking about the first edition of the Porto Cervo Wine Festival 2009, an event that will be hosted by Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ prestigious venues, from April 24 to 26, aimed at making known the best national and international wine productions.
The Porto Cervo Wine Festival will be an event reserved only to the best Italian companies, which have been selected through a cross-referenced evaluation based on the most important national and international oenological guides. The event aims at offering to wine-lovers a unique opportunity to meet the most renowned experts of the sector, to taste big wine-names and to enjoy high-cuisine, all this set against a prestigious and spectacular location.
It is worth highlighting the fact that the proceeds will be devolved to the initiative Wine For Life, realized by the Saint Egidio Community that associated great quality wines to the fight to cure AIDS in Africa through the DREAM Program (www.wineforlife.com).
