Galleria Ferrari presents “The Italian Car 1899-2009”, an exhibition dedicated to the fans tracing the history of the car since 1899, years of the foundation of Fiat, until the present day.
The exhibition represents the reflection of an era, with the advertisement, the aspirations, the escapism, the sense of freedom, the scientific application.
Creativity and genius, but also style, class, elegance, technology and sportsmanship for an object that contributed to changing the custom and the social habits as to influence the economy of a country and not only.
From Maranello to Torino, five stops through the most prestigious Italian brands.
Galleria Ferrari, sponsor of the exhibition, for the occasion will put side by side the permanent collection of bubble cars and the Gran Turismo that marked the history of the Prancing Horse, and masterpieces of technique like FIAT 130 HP of 1907, the Lancia Aurelia B 24 of 1954, the Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 B of 1938 and the Maserati A6 1500 of 1948, and will present a picture exhibition with “The 110 years of the most Beautiful Cars in the World” and the original historical films of the various brands.
Besides the official museum of the House of the Prancing Horse, the guests will have the unique chance to enjoy some facilitation also to visit the Museum of Cars of Turin located at the Turin Exhibitions, la Private Collection Umberto Panini in Corli di Formigine, with one of the more complete collections of Maserati, the Nicolis Museum of Cars, Technique, Mechanic in Villafranca di Verona and the Fiat Historical Centre inaugurated in 1963, where the company was born and where today are preserved the projects and the realizations in the various fields of application of the most important Italian enterprise.
