The Porsche Museum opens its doors

The inauguration will be held on January 31, 2009

Finally it is about to arrive. In about a month, the much-awaited Stuttgart Porsche Museum will be ready to welcome international fans, and not only.

At the beginning of December, the exterior was thoroughly made visible, while inside 80 collectibles had already been turned into museum-pieces; they are the first ones to be displayed and will later be substituted with other pieces in order to guarantee the liveliness and continuous change of the museum itself. In fact, the museum holds a reservoir of vintage vehicles, sports and race cars that shaped the history of the German manufacturer.

Shortly the last “tune-ups” should be terminated and the mounting be definitive. The inauguration will officially take place on January 28, 2009, while the opening to the public will be on January 31; together with it the restaurant and all related services will start functioning.
