Valuable Ferraris up for auction
On 17th May, Maranello will host an extremely luxurious event
17th May 2009: Italy’s collectors, do gather up at the Ferrari factory in Maranello. The maison of the Prancing Horse will put up for auction some of the cars that celebrated worldwide the might of this brand.
Organized in collaboration with Sotheby’s, this extraordinary appointment will only see Ferraris as protagonists, among which some historic models. In fact, there will be a 1964 Ferrari 150 GT Berlinetta luxury, and a 1990 Formula Uno, not to mention the exemplars coming from the private collection of Edgar Schermerhorn, among which a 1949 166 Inter Coupé Touring, a 1950 195 Inter Coupé featuring a Ghia signed body and a 1953 212 Europa Coupé.
To make the event even more precious is the starting price of the auction: 2 million euros for the least expensive Ferrari.
